UpgradingDigitalBanking_850.jpg

At Heartland Bank, we continually strive to provide our customers with the best customer service! Our commitment to the highest level of service extends from our great team of banking associates to the products and services we offer. Because of this, we are upgrading our data processing and server for our digital banking services over the weekend of July 21st – 23rd.

Upgrading allows us to provide more consistent and reliable digital banking services. All of our digital banking services – Online Banking, HB Mobile, Online Bill Pay and Online Business Banker – will be available more frequently with less downtime due to issues.

Also with the upgrade, we will be able to provide our digital banking customers with additional new products. For example, after the update you will be able to see more transaction history in online or mobile banking than just the 60 days currently available. We will introduce additional new products in the coming months after the upgrade.

Over the weekend of July 21st – 23rd, there will be a few changes to the digital banking services as we make the transition.

During the Upgrade

  • From 4:00 pm on Friday, July 21st, to 9:00 am on Monday, July 24th, within online and mobile banking you will only be able to view transactions, balances and statements. Online Bill Pay, transfers and any actions inside of Online or Mobile Banking will not be available during this time.

After the Upgrade

  • Online Banking customers logging in for the first time after the upgrade will need to answer your security question. You will need to provide the answer even if you have previously selected for them not to show.
  • When you use the HB Mobile app for the first time after the upgrade, will need to go to our bank website, MyHeartland.Bank, and log into Online Banking first before being able to log into the app. You can easily access our website on any device.
  • Intuit - Quicken & Quickbooks users will need to complete an account deactivation and reactivation process after July 24, 2017. We have provided instructions for the entire process, and you can access those documents here.

Overall, the upgrade is going to provide better digital banking service and security while making us more efficient allowing our associates to focus on serving you best. The transition will not affect how you bank, and our personnel is not changing with this upgrade. You will still talk to the same people as you always have when contacting Heartland Bank.

As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or stop by your local Heartland Bank branch.
