Heartland Bank Introduces Updated Card Management Tools!

Designed to optimize your mobile banking experience, the new updated card management features will be found by tapping 'My Cards' right inside Heartland Bank's mobile banking app on Thursday, March 17th!

You'll still have all the features you're used to, and more, including:

  • Transaction notifications
  • Enriched transactions to clearly see where your purchases are made
  • Recurring payment visibility for subscriptions and cards on file with merchants
  • Ability to add your own travel plan
  • Controls and alerts for location, merchant type and spending limit preferences
  • Track spending by month, category and more
  • Add cards to your digital wallet on your mobile phone

What Do I Need to Do Before the Update?

To ensure a seamless transition, you will not be able to access the card management features currently in the app starting at 10:00pm on March 16th until the app is updated. This should only take a few hours. If your phone is set to auto-update apps, the mobile banking app will update automatically. If not, you'll need to prompt the update to the app manually.

If you haven't already, download our mobile banking app, set up an account and login to become familiar with our mobile banking app.


What Do I Need to Do After the Update?

When you access the app on or after March 17th, the app may need a few moments to update. Next, simply tap 'My Cards' within our app to see all the new features, enable alerts and manage your existing controls! Once you've accessed the features inside our Heartland Bank mobile app, you may delete HB Card Control from your device as it will no longer be used.
