As an important part of our Heartland Bank family, we wanted to let you know we have reached an agreement to purchase Jefferson County Bank in Daykin, Nebraska and First National Bank of Fairbury, in Fairbury, Nebraska.
We are excited about the opportunities presented by the purchase and want to make sure you, as our customers, are fully informed during this process.
Like many of our customers, we are a family-owned business, and we are proud to continue the tradition of family-ownership and local decision making with the purchase.
One of the primary goals of the purchase is to follow our vision of being a growing organization which provides leadership to improve the lives of customers, associates and communities. The growth will allow us to provide the financial services required to better serve you, as our valued customers. Our organizations have more than 300 years of combined excellent customer service.
The purchase is expected to close around the end of the year and is subject to regulatory approvals. After the purchase, Heartland Bank will have full-service locations in both Fairbury and Daykin.
As we continue to grow, wherever we go, our commitment remains the same. We build relationships. We deliver personal service. And, we want to help you, your family and your community grow. At Heartland Bank, our community involvement goes beyond the dollars and cents of banking. It's a testament to our commitment to the people – to our communities, our families and all their dreams. It demonstrates we care about the economic, cultural and social development of the communities we serve.
Throughout the transition, we will act with purpose, focus and transparency as we integrate two organizations into Heartland Bank.
We will keep you posted on our ongoing plans. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have. We look forward to serving your ongoing needs.
