Heartland Bank Announces Closing of the State Bank of Odell Purchase
GENEVA, NEBRASKA — Heartland Bank announced today the closing of the purchase of the State Bank of Odell (SBO), Odell, Neb. Effective today, both State Bank of Odell branches in Diller and Odell are now full-service Heartland Bank branches.
Expressing his excitement about the expanded market presence, John Wilkins, CEO and Chairman of Heartland Bank, shared his enthusiasm for expanding their market. Despite the change in name and ownership, customers can rest assured that their banking relationships will remain in good hands. System conversion is scheduled for the weekend of February 17, 2024, allowing customers to transition to Heartland Bank services. Over the next few months, Heartland Bank will work diligently to consolidate operations and help customers through the integration.
