Steve Knapp, also known as “Knapper”, lives in Elkhorn with his wife Donnet. He has three daughters and seven grandchildren. He enjoys golfing, staying active, being around people and, of course, being supportive and involved with his family. Knapp is Chairman of the Board for Outlook Nebraska, Inc., he also serves on the American Red Cross Board of Directors of Omaha Council Bluffs Metro.
Through his 43 years of banking experience, he has developed many personal and professional ties in Omaha, surrounding communities and throughout the entire state.
John is the Chairman and CEO of Heartland Bank. He is the third generation of the Wilkins family to lead the bank. John has 40 years of banking experience in various lending, wealth management, and branch leadership roles. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
